FAL trigger job
Does anyone know of a good way or good gunsmith to improve the trigger on an FAL? I've got a good IMBEL FAL that I love other than it has an incredibly creaky, stiff trigger. My favorite gunsmith says he can't do enough to improve it to be worth the effort. I checked with DS Arms and they do trigger work but only on rifles they've built. Since the trigger group isn't part of the serial numbered receiver, I would think a drop-in improvement or lower receiver replacement might work. Looking for ideas and/or information. It's a shame to have a great rifle with a trigger as creaky as my back.
Thanks in advance.

You might also try the "TPR" (trigger pull reduction) spring kit from DSA, iirc. Was only a coupla bux, & it cut-out the gritty/stiffness completely.
Still has a long/steady pull, but now she's quite smooth .....0
