400 jeffery

I recently acquired a beatiful 400 jeffery sidelock serial no.11386 and want to research the origin of the gun and its trail from date of manufacture untill it ended up with me. Can anyone assist in this regard?

    I would contact Jeffery directly . They May chose to give you information on where the gun was originally shipped. other then that we have no way of tracking who may have owned the gun . At least in this country I could buy a gun from another person living in my state today and then sell the gun the next day to another person from my state this could go on every day for years and hundreds of owners and the last person would have no idea of who and when had owned the gun. All of us have firearms that we wish could talk but some things are not meant to be.
