Hi,
was the 219 Zipper cartridge ever chambered for a bolt action rifle? .. If so, what manufacturer(s) & model numbers?
Kind regards,

Close as your going to get I'm afraid is the .225 Winchester, which came and went pretty quickly. Besides Winchester believe Savage chambered for it. 0 -
It is possible that a very very small number of them were made in the Model 70. 0 -
Ok, thanks guys. Reason I asked is my dad (passed) used to have a 219 and I always thought it was of a bolt variety. ... He had the 218 Bee also, each now long sold off before I had a chance at them.
Regards all,

Only .219 Zipper I've seen or heard of were Marlin 336SC and Winchester 64, both lever actions, and limited production. 0 -
I heard rumors of pre 64 model 70s in 219 Zipper, it's kinda like Big Foot, I've never had my hands on one but I've heard stories.

Approximately 10% of the total Winchester Model 64 production were 219 Zippers (6,600).0
