Winchester 52D
I have Come into acquiring a winchester model 52D. its perfect condition with only a few minor dings on the stock. it has Redfield Olympic iron sights and a bulldog barrel. Anyone know the worth of this gun? its really fun to shoot and dead accurate. Thanks.

Does anyone know if the action screws on a Winchester 52D are suppost to be torqued. 0 -
All action screws IMHO should be torqued, for best accuracy. The torque values will have to be searched for, but not over 60 INCH-pounds.
Best
EDIT 1
There is not a reccommended torque per sey, you have to experiment, to see what settings give you the best accuracy, and then write them down, and stick with them.
This could also vary from load to load. Yes I know, another variable to keep track of. Just like race car teams, all the top guys pay extreme attention to EVERY little detail.

THERE IS NO FACTORY RECOMMENDED TORQUE, JUST BE CONSISTENT 40/60 INCH LBS. SHOULD DO IT. 0 -
