mailng gun parts

does anyone know of any issues with mailing gun barrels between private parties, specifically a revolver barrel. neither one of the parties involved have a ffl.....looking to use USPS....thanks Dave

  Unless you're mailing a gun RECEIVER, there are no legal issues here.
  
  So far as Uncle Sam is concerned, revolver barrels are just machine parts, same as parts from a sewing machine or carburetor.
