Remington Wingmaster 28 ga

Ran across a nice 28 ga Wingmaster at my local shop. Extremely clean gun with glossy bluing and not the black matt finish. The stock appears to be mahogony and gun has a black flapper. Breech is nickel. Is this the cheaper Express version or a later version of the Wingmaster? Thanks.

    Express would have a vent rib. Birch stock.

    sounds like a regular 870 wingmaster,a real nice shotgun. i could not find a regular 870 wingmaster 28ga at a good price,so i bought a 870 express 28ga at walmart on close out a few years ago for 199.00 and i ame satisfied with it. on your other post the 410 remington sounds like a express. also a nice shotgun,tho it may not look as pretty as a regular wingmaster. eastbank.

    what does it say on the side of the receiver ? if its a Wingmaster it should say wingmaster on it , like wise a express will say express on the left side
