I have a Colt Revolver on one side of the barrel it says COLT NEW POLICE and on the other side it says POLICE POSITIVE, The patent info reads: colt patent firearms manufacturing co

THe bluing and condition is abot 90 % and , still has the hang tag that tells the type of ammo it takes and the model name of the gun. And it has the original box as well. Please let me know the value, Thanks Jeff

I believe thats an early Police Positive. They used left over frames from the New Police. By the serial number the gun was made in 1908, a 2nd year gun. I've got a couple of them , I know the books says to add 10% for the transisional models but I have not found that to be the case. Having the box and tag really help. I'm going to say $425, there is some bluing wear + scratchs. 0 -
After looking at it,,still 300-400...That gun is fired,,,and a reserve auction,,two things, I would have done different if mine..Good luck with it.[:)] 0 -
It may be the lighting, but it looks like a couple of screws have been turned and marred. 0
