Seems like one could be made if the size was known... 0 -
This is common on many German guns for the windage adjustment.
Some skate keys will work available at antique stores or some clock winding keys available at old clock repair shops. Even so you many need to lightly file the inside flats of the key. Do no alter or file the scope stud, please, make sure the key has no play for it may round off your scope stud. A little oil will help loosen the windage stud threads.0 -
isnt the round adjustable part on top with a set screw the windage adjustment? now im confused. there is no vertical adjustment. what you said is why i am looking for specific tool, dont want to mar up my beautiful rifle. thank you guys again. 0 -
The knob on top should be the elevation adjustment.
The square nut should be for windage.
If you can't find a key that fits, look into a six point socket the size of the nut.0 -
get a piece of Brass or Bronze 1/4 inch by 1/2 inch by 2-4 inches Then drill a hole slightly smaller then the square across the flats . now take a SWISS neele file and square up the hole drilled in the block of brass . In this way you will not MAR the steel Square of the scope / mount. Just take your time you want it to be a SNUG fit. 0 -
