does antone know if winchester made a 34" barrel for the old 37
the reason i'm asking is that i have one i thought it was a PIECED BARREL but after looking real hard i can't find where it was put together, so if winchester didn't make a 34" for the 37.. the person who fixed mine is REALLY GOOD.0 -

If you go to the auction site, hit HOME (center top of page) and search for auctions, it will show you many for sale. You can perform a smart search for completed auctions and see what people are actually paying for them. 0 -
Sorry but you don't have a Winchester Model 37, you have a Winchester Model 37A. The Model 37 was made by Winchester at their New Haven plant from 1936 to 1963 and were not serial numbered. The Model 37A was made in Canada at the old Cooey Machine & Arms Company plant which Winchester bought in about 1968. The Model 37A was made from 1968 to 1973 and has a "C" prefix to the serial number. Sorry but I have no serial number-year made tables for this gun. If you are interested in when the gun was made you might contact Winchester Repeating Arms Company for information. 0 -
Agreed. 37A.
I have a 37 and it has no serial number.0 -
I too have a Model 37 in .410 bore with no serial number. It is the first gun I ever bought. I bought it in 1946 for $9.00 0
