Colt officers model
I have a Colt Officers model in 38 cal. with a 6 inch barrel. Serial number 305XXX in very good condition with a very bight blue finish. It has a few spots of surface rust. I believe it is a First Model manufactued in 1908. Any Idea what it might be worth in todays market? My books are dated.
Any info as to where the best place to sell would be greatly appreciated.

Further inspection of the gun showed that the problem is only the pivot pin. When the sight is cranked up or down it pivots on a 1/16th diameter pin. Not a big deal, just knocked out the old pin leaving the drift pin in place while I inserted a fresh pin from the other side. All fixed. 0
