    Geezasaurous,

Hello, and welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.com

I have a Para-Ordnance S-14 Limited, and have the Ciener Platnum conversion, with adjustable sights for mine. It works very well, and you shouldn't have no problems either. It might need a brick of 22's thru it to break it in though. It is pretty accurate for what it is too.

I have a GI expert also & went to the Ciener web site. Did not see the GI expert listed in the Para conversions. Would the S14 conversion be the same as the GI?

Interesting...it seems I have more homework to do. I was hoping that there was a conversion out there that would work with the GI Expert. Maybe the Para is not the way to go...

All 1911's have the same frame rails...thats why the US armories could piece them together from a box of parts. you have to get the one for the Colt, as you have a single stack.

Depending on your intent, you could also look for a KART 22 conversion or a DAY 30X conversion. Unfortunately neither are currently in production.

You might consider the Kimber 22 conversion, seeing as Ciener is such a B@$!@&D to deal with [B)]
Mine fits everything except Springfields for some reason.

    DCS,
I completely agree with you about Ciener. He is a horrible person. On the other hand he makes a good product. I solved my dilemma by buying a used Ciener kit. That way I wasn't giving him any new money.
