W Mills Improved wire twist double barrel sg

Im looking for information about a Muzzleloader Shotgun my grandfather brought back from Europe after WWII.

Its says W Mills Improved Marker 120 High Holborn London on the rib and has double wire twist barrels. With engraving of bird dogs on the side plates and hammer guard and engraving of what look like Pheasant on the "fishhead" hammers and also between the hammers just and the end of the rib.
It also has Platinum blow out plugs and gold pieces at the end of the forarm and a piece just behind the barrel where hand would grip.
It also has a safety lever just behind the trigger guard.

Id like to know anything about this gun and maybe a value.

    I can offer no help because all my references are on breech loading shotguns made after 1865. But may I suggest you ask your question on the Antique Arms site. There is an English correspondent there who is quite knowledgeable on English made guns

    W F Mills of that address was gunmaker to Queen Victoria. Patented a few unique arms. Believe he died in 1831, not sure. Guns seemed to be very good quality, but I am not competent to comment of value of yours, epecially with no idea of condition- and NO PICTURES !!!

    High Holborn street London seems to have been knee deep in gunmakers. May have working relation to other smiths in that area- POSSIBLY Manton. By all means DO pursue on any antique forum you can find- and there MAY be some Brit gun forums.
