1902 Remington 22 single shot long rifle
Thinking about selling off a 1902 remington 22 long rifle that has just been sitting in a closet for yr's. back in 1995 it was takin to a gun shop for a check over, had a new firing pin & etc done to it.
has not been fired since then.
was wondering about how much would this be worth!
Do have pix if needed.
Thanks

You Gun Collector's Opinion's Will Be Appreciated!
Thank's0 -
It's a Remington model 6.
They are great little guns, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of collector interest. The tang sight is desireable, but the overall condition of the gun is not good. My guess is around $200.0 -
Put it up for auction here, with a reserve. In the description mention the carved initial"AP" . Reason being, I once saw a gun go for far greater than its value because a couple of bidders just happened to want the initial engraved plate on the gun. Other, collectors, were turned off by the insert initial plate. I talked to the winning bidder and he wanted to give the gun as a present to his father that had those initials. You already have some limited exposure now, announce your putting on auction. You never know. Good luck. 0 -
