S&W 17-8 cylinder finish

I have a couple of small scratches on the cylinder of my S&W 17-8. What would be an appropriate way to refinish/cover them. I believe the cylinder is some alloy material unlike the frame metal.

  Birchwood Casey sells stuff call "Aluminum Black". It's specifically for touching up scratches in aluminum, which your cylinder is fabricated of.
