16 ga shotshells
Where would be the cheapiest source online to buy 16 ga shells by the case? I wanted to stock up on a couple cases of field loads and wally world doesnt carry them.Any suggestions?

I haven't seen any 16 gauge sold at "promotional" prices for a long time. There's nothing wrong with 16 gauge, it's just not popular here in the States. You might try GOOGLEing using something similar to "16 gauge shotgun shells" as your search term, but I got the feeling your not going to have any luck buying them inexpensively. 0 -

It has been a while since I bought 16 ga, as I got away from shooting it for CAS when WalMart stopped carrying it. Some of us used it often with 16ga Win97's, because you could grab more 16's than 12's in your hand from a belt, a slide or a bandolier.
Anway, I recall some time ago seeing it at okay pricing at Cheaper Than Dirt (their catalog). Look at their online catalog, too. But it was import ammo. Don't know about their prices now. Another outfit was Natchez Shooter's(?) or Shooting(?) Supply. Query buy 16 shotgun shells or some similar search string on google, alta vista or lycos or another search engine.0 -

Able Ammo has Estate brand 16 ga. for $8.63/box and less if you buy a larger quantity. Some of the Federal lines are the same price for field loads.

Ammotogo has them at Noble and Remington at $73 and $75 a case.

Haunt gunshows if you can, I have found a lot of older, but completely usable 16 ga stuff there. Also check small gun and pawn shops, a lot of 16 ga stuff gets turned in to them. 0
