A 20 ga. is more desirable, and a decent field grade with no rib in fair shape is worth $650ish +/- IMO.

That serial # should place its DOM in the late 30's.

Sorry to be ignorant,I'm an old car nut. What is a rib and how do you know if it is a field grade? The stock is smooth with no checkering, not a pistol grip and the forearm slide is round with circular grooves around it.
    Thanks

Is there a site where you can list guns for for sale? A good reputable site?

Are you kidding? You are on the best site to auction guns. Go to the top of this page and click on Home.
