Broken stock repair on Jap mod 38, cont'd
A very nice Springfield sporter stock sold recently on Ebarf.
It was repaired with Gorilla glue making for an ugly repair.
The glue expanded making the joint very visible.
A professional stock repairer will use hidden pins and Brownells or super glue for an invisible, strong repair.
If it's your first stock repair on a collectible, let a pro do it.
Luckily, your repair isn't structural unless someone someone puts a good deal of tension on the rear sling swivel.
