Value of Eastern Arms Company 101.7 double 12ga
I need the best guess on the value of this double barrel 12 ga.
5100 on right side of receiver, left side of receiver has Eastern Arms Company 101.7. Has 30" tubes, good bores, appears gun was in the middle of a refinish when traded in. Right side of tang in the rear stock has a 2 1/2" chip repaired, missing the butt plate, there was a crack on the left side of the stock and behind the tang which looks like they have been repaired. Blue is 75%, fair to good condition overall

5100 = SAVAGE/STEVENS PRODUCTION (PRE 311), A 'SHOOTER' GRADE SHOTGUN. $200 +- 0 -
A good utilitarian double. Absolutely no frills, but safe and inexpensive.
Sell to a dealer and expect $100 or so. Sell privately and you'll see a bit over $200. Keep in mind that an old Belgian wallhanger will set you back $200 and this piece by rights (and logic) should actually bring at least another $50.0
