astra 300 nazi
I have two astra 300 both are all number matching with nazi proof marks on them. Why does one say 9mm kurts and the other say 9mm kurts/380. Thank you[img][/img]http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae347/mike45700_0/astra 300/409.jpg http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae347/mike45700_0/astra 300/408.jpg http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae347/mike45700_0/astra 300/407.jpg

9mm Kurtz is the German designation for the .380 cartridge. Either the Spanish when they made the barrels marked them both, or one is a replacement barrel. Disassemble both pistols to see if both barrels are marked or proofed similarity on the sides concealed by the slide. 0 -
Both barrels are original to each gun the last three numbers of the seral # are on them as all the parts are number matching. That is why it is odd. 0 -
I have a 300 with the 9mm kurtz marking, and a friend has the 9mm/380 markings. Mine has an older s/n, so I'm guessing this was a mid run change. 0
