    9mm Kurtz is the German designation for the .380 cartridge. Either the Spanish when they made the barrels marked them both, or one is a replacement barrel. Disassemble both pistols to see if both barrels are marked or proofed similarity on the sides concealed by the slide.

    Both barrels are original to each gun the last three numbers of the seral # are on them as all the parts are number matching. That is why it is odd.

    I have a 300 with the 9mm kurtz marking, and a friend has the 9mm/380 markings. Mine has an older s/n, so I'm guessing this was a mid run change.
