The greater majority of firearms Crescent made were double shotguns. Little is known of the other guns that Crescent made.

With the older Store Brand guns that don't have the actual manufacturers marking, there is always question of who actually made them.

Most of the large wholesale hardware distributors like Shapleigh could care less about who actually made their guns. They gave the contract to the low bidder. As the guns were sold as basic, inexpensive, utility grade, firearms that's all they cared about.

I found a little more info in that the Nitro King brand was made for Sears and Roebuck from 1908 to 1917.
