I have a savage model 45 ,looking for info on a 2 hole side scope mount

  If the hole size is for a #10 screw, than it is either for: the long discontinued Mossberg mount (ONLY made for 3/4" tube scopes) or the adapter for Mossbergs to take Weaver Top Mount Rings made by Havlin Sales;or, if the holes are farther apart (about 2") it is made for not as long discontinued Weaver side mounts, likely the #2 base.
