Starr Double Action Trigger
I have a Starr double action army in excellent condition, but the trigger does not cock the hammer all the way back. The 'tip' of the trigger that pushes the hammer looks to have chipped. I have a friend who teaches metallurgy at one of the universities here in California (he rebuilds Colt Single Action Army hammers and triggers for John Kopec, renowned Colt expert) and if I had a good trigger to model off of...he could rebuilt mine. My question...Is there anyone who would you like to RENT me a good double action Starr Army trigger that I could model mine after. Either a spare one or one from a pistol that has a "Tight action and cycles properly". I would be willing to give you a PayPal 'Security Deposit', pay insured shipping both ways. Bottom line is, I will pay $100.00 for renting it to me for about 3 to 4 weeks. If you want to check my references, you can check me out on eBay under calbd. Let me know what you think. Thank you.
