Anyone shootin a VTR ?????
Bought one off the auction side in 223 rem last year from a fella in Fl. and fell in love with it [:p]
Took me a while to scope it , and when I did I put a simmons something or other on it in 4x12x44 , it shot like a dream ,and when I found out how much the farmer's hated ground hogs in their fields , the rest as they say is history .
Now I just could'nt leave well enough alone , and had to have better glass on it so I went and bought a Weaver V series 6x24x42 with the mil dot rec.
Shot it at 100 yd's , but the weather here in Pa. sucks lately , and didn't get to shoot it out around 2 to 3 yd's yet .

I've shot them for testing. There is a ton of topics on these rifles if you use the search function with the term 'VTR'. Be sure to select 'all forums' as there should be about 25 topics.
