Auto Prime tool

Hey guys, who makes an hand held priming tool that will fit the RUM's? I have a Lee Auto prime Dad bought about 20yrs ago. Had to modify it to fit the RUMs in, and still isn't the correct shell holder. Won't fully seat the primer becuse the case is a little "sloppy" in the holder. Any suggestions??

  The RCBS tool uses standard shell holders.

  Just buy a #5 shell holder for the lee Auto prime and get to priming cases...

  yep, buy the holder for the 404 jeffries case (the parent case for the RUM)

  RCBS makes a hand primer tool that works for 98% of cases and doesn't have a conventional shell holder

  Hornady also makes a nice all steel unit that takes standard shell holders.

  I had to remove just the smallest amount of material on the tool itself. The ID on the shellholder #5 was just a touch larger than the tool ID

  I have two RCBS hand priming tools,the older one takes the regular shellholders and the new one is spring loaded and adjusts for each shell.The newer model should would just right for you,good luck.
