No problems. FWIW, with the Ruger auto pistols, unlike ARs, the "upper" IS the receiver, and is the serially numbered component.

The only difference between say a Ruger MkII and a Ruger MkII 22/45 is the grip frame the uppers/recievers are the same

I have a MKII and a MKII 22/45, and they will not interchange.

As reported on the Ruger forum, the 22/45 "upper" is reshaped(looks like it's been hit with a hammer on the underside) to tighten the interface between the hook on the grip assy and the rcvr tang. I have an extra receiver apparently from a 22/45 and it won't fit up with a MkIII standard grip frame. It can be made to fit by grinding.

On most of mine they were interchangeable. Check out RimFire central for some more info. I've got a Tactical Solutions 10" fluted that i've had on a MKII grip frame as well as a MKIII 22/45 grip frame.
