Doing a trade: AR-15 value?

Hello All!
I am pondering a trade for an AR-15. I would want to sell the gun quickly so I am looking to see what the resell value might be. Here is the description from the seller:

Mint cond Bushmaster Gas Piston Police edition AR-15. I have flat top receiver, yankee hill folding forward grip, 2 mag pull clips, EoTech 512 sight, tactical flashlight, soft tactical case with nag pockets, ammo, rear flip up sight, front flip up sight, stock carry handle. Shot less than 200 rounds.

    I have a bushmaster with the stainless heavy barrel, purchased during the obama rush to buy guns, paid 1200[xx(]. can't get that now from an over abundance of AR's for sale to the bad economy.

    With that said, I believe the seller has $ 1600-1800 into the AR, what the asking price is unknown. the resale value is up there, but you won't get a quick resale.......it'll sit on the shelf collecting dust. the economy is not getting any better for a long while.

    this may look like a golden opportunity to make some quick cash, but these rifles are not a hot item like they use to.

    All I can tell you is if it's an AR without a BIG name attached to it, it's going to sit. Bushmaster is very good, IMO, but they are not the BIG name. Please note that I differentiate here between what is good and what is marketable,i.e. "big name". I do think Bushmaster is good. But I don't think they have the market strength to pull a big profit for you if you buy this to flip it.

    With the accessories, you are looking at $1000.00-1200.00 in this economy.
