Ruger #1 tropical 22 Hornet?
Maybe some one can help me out here, i have what appears to be a #1 tropical in 22 Hornet. It has the barrel band for the swivel stud, and has the distinctive cut-in at the end of the for end. I have trtied to googlethem, but can not find much info on them. Any one have any ideas on when it may have been made, or how may have been made? I have several #1's, but this is the most unique of them.
Thanks in advance,

go over to rugerfourm
you will need to add a .com to that to get there but if i put it all together as a link this site would not allow it
any ways those guys over there will be able to answer your questions0 -
It is most likely a #1-A, with the Alexander Henry style foraem. If it has express sights, it would be the Tropical.

The Tropical would make a mighty heavy Hornet... 0
