Welcome to the fouum. I'd look for a scope designed for shotgun or black powder use. They are usually set for 50yds. Some rimfires scopes and air rifle scopes might also work for you depending on what cartridge you are shooting.

Either a shotgun scope, or one with an adjustable objective lens.

Look into a quality Air Rifle scope with an adjustable objective, most can be focused down to the 25 foot range, here is a link with a few options:

    Sporterifle uses .22lr, right?

So that opens you up to all sort of scope possibilities.

Since you're shooting rimfire, basically you need something intended for rimfire (ie with a short or adjustable parallax) that has a fixed or variable power including 10x.

I'd say variable is probably better. . .you may have a hard time just finding your target at 50 feet with a 10x scope.

You didn't mention your budget, but I think there are a lot of choices that could work. Maybe something like this:

Burris builds a quality scope, and offers excellent customer service including a lifetime warranty. This scope describes a minimum focus range of 7 yards, and there is a competition variant available.

Leupold makes a series of scopes listed as EFR- Extended Focus Range for air rifles, small bores, and other close range shooting. Their adjustable objective will correct out parallax as close as 10 meters.
