What's it worth?
Belgium Browning .22 grade II, circa 1971 in 99 condition includes original case and instructions. Minimal use and unfired since professional lube one year ago.
Truly an unmarked gem.

    Welcome to the forums henry. Iam not sure what a "professional lube" is when compared to a regular lube, but the value should be around $900 to $1100 depending on condition and accessories. By case do you mean the leather hinged case?

    Things that would add to the value are the initials or signature of the engraver and the presence of the "wheel" type rear sight.

    A "professional lube" usually runs about 200 dollars,,,non pro,,six pack and say you"re pretty..

    Mr. Henry:

    If there is an original Browning case, wool lined, etc, the case alone is valued from $250-$350, + with papers. A grade 1 .22 SA (Belgium) would be valued $700 to $1000 (wheel sight demands a premium but were mfr. prior to 71, .22 short $++). Grade II has extra engraving, etc. Its value is somewhat greater than a grade I; probably at minimum starting at $1200.

    I have a Browning 22 auto that I bough new in 1959 that does not have a wheel sight.

    Peddler: Standard Catalog of Firearms says wheel sights were manufacturered 1956-60. My .22 SA was mfr. in 1959 and has a wheel sight.

    I just know I bought mine in the summer of 59, mine is 22 long rifle.
