I ENDED AN AUCTION EARLY AND THIS GUY WHO BIDED A PENNY GOT WON THE ITEM ..WHY I CAN'T END AN AUCTION WHEN I PLEASE?

    Read the guidelines on what a seller can and can not do.When you put up a gun for auction. . You need to take this up with the auction side of GUNBROKER not the forum Side . the forum side is for members Not the people that run Gunbroker.

    A bid is a binding contract. If the auction started at a penny with no reserve, and someone bid a penny, why on earth would you end it early?

    Methinks you should read the Seller Tutorial carefully. This transaction either will earn you bad feedback, or it will be an expensive learning experience

    A seller can close an auction at any time. If the item has been bid on at the time it is closed, the item must be sold the high bidder. There is no way to 'withdraw' an item after it has a bid. We recommend that you do not close an item unless absolutely necessary, as this tends to irritate the bidders and can lead to negative feedback being posted on your account.

    You can close an auction any time you feel the need, that is what the button at the top of the listing which says End This Auction is used for. Once that one cent was bid, your auction then became active and as soon as you closed it the man who bid the penny automatically became the auction winner at $.01.

    Keep closing your auctions after one cent bids and you'll be assured of becoming the leading seller on Gun Broker and you'll have nothing but A+++++ feedbacks!
