Browning A-Bolt 2 .300WSM Best Ammo
Looking for some information on the best round for this rifle. It has a stainless barrel and a walnut stock. I put a box of winchester silver tips in 150 grn through it and couldn't get a very good group. I ran a patch through the barrel after every three shot group and had to adjust my optics every time. Any advice on a good round for this rifle. I hear the federal vital shock in 165 grain with the nosler tip were pretty good. Thank-you.

Hello, and welcome to tthe forums here on gunbroker.
First i am going to ask what you are using for a scope and mount's. Make sure the scope base, is securily torqued to the rifle, and use BLUE Loctite on the threads. The torque should be around 25-30 INCH pounds. The scope ring cap bolts should be torqued no tighter than 15 INCH pounds, or you risk crushing the tube.
Next check the torque of your action screws. Those are the screws that hold the barreled action in the stock. They should be around 60 INCH pounds.
Try some Federal premium's with the Barnes TSX...150 grainer's. The Winchester Ballistic Silver Tips are usually the best, so you might want to try them again after you check your scope and action screws.
