Armi San Marco saa, precushion cap??

What on earth is the armi San Marco saa that has precushion cap nipples? But has ejector rod for Carthage? Where would u find the 45 lc cylinder?

  Need to see photos to try to figure that one out. Some reproductions of the Model 1860 Army .44 with a cartridge conversion were made, could it be one of those?

  I've seen this one for sale at Cabelas and elsewhere. its a single action Colt clone in every way except the cylinder is designed with nipples for cap and ball loading and with no loading lever you have to remove the cylinder to load it. Changing cylinders to shoot cartridges may not be safe as I think it was rated for Black powder only so proceed with caution. To clarify I have no idea who mfg. the ones i've seen

  I have never seen one of these either. Armi San Marco (ASM) is out of business as far as I know and your gun, unless my time line is off, must have been made in the mid-80's to early 90's. Someone who is more familiar with ASM would have to say for sure.
  
  It would be very interesting to see several well-defined, non-blurry, well-lighted photos of your gun, if it is possible and convenient for you to do that. Perhaps you could either post the photos here, according to the sticky topic posted in the topic listing in the Ask the Experts Forum or post your photos on a hosting site, such as PhotoBucket and then post the web link to those photos here in an edit to your original topic posting?

  i decited not to buy the gun, but it was just like a Colt SAA but it had a precushion cap pistol cylinder in it. was just weird IMO
