How accurate remington 77
I thought it would never come to the day when I bring a gun home and then find out, I don't have ammo for it.[:(!] Well I picked up this used [almost new} Remington airmaster model 77 pump .177/BB
gun at a estate sale today with the idea of just giving to a neighbor's young kid. Got home and found NO .177 pellets. It has a rifled barrel. What type of group should I expect at 25 feet?? I'll hate to give a new shooter a gun that will not "make" him try to do good.

As much as each "gun" is a law unto itself, airguns are even more so.
Buy some quality pellets and try it out. That's the only way you'll know for sure if its a joy or a disappointment that you're planning to pass on. Have a little fun with it, and if you do decide to give it to the young lad, he'll have some ammo to start off with as well.0 -
+1 to getting some quality pellets.
With the right ammo your gun should be able to kill empty shotgun shells at 25 feet.0
