SLAVIA PELLET PISTOL

I have a SLAVIA pellet pistol. it was purchased in the 1960's. it is in very good shape.
What would it's value be?
I have pics but don't know how to include them in here. oleniuklt@shaw.ca

    See the "Sticky" at the top of the "Ask the Experts" page for instructions on how to post a picture.

    Without images, its going to be hard to tell exactly what you have or what its worth.

    Even so, the Slavia guns don't have a lot of collector's value.

    My GUESS is you probably have something like THIS, the Slavia ZVP:

    If so, you're looking at a gun worth maybe $35 or so.

    that is the model i have.
    my pistol is very clean, no scratches, etc.
    it shoot good. i've not tested it for velocity, distance or what ever else.

    If the gun is in sound condition it might yield around 325 fps or so with a typical .177 lead pellet.

    Unfortunately in a 30+ year old gun, there is a good likelihood the seals inside have dried out and you may not see that much. If so, they're probably replaceable with some effort.

    Practical range depends on what exactly you're trying to shoot here, but I'd say 10 meters is probably reasonable as a "plinker" or for paper targets. Velocity is going to drop off pretty fast, plus at under 350fps you're already starting with a rainbow-like trajectory.

    I have pics but don't know how to include them in here. oleniuklt@shaw.ca I have a Slavia pellet rifle I paid 20.00 for new.Kept it in the barn for mice and rats.
