38 40 Colt Lightning
I just picked up a beautiful Colt Lightning medium frame. The problem is that the checkered forearm has damage.
Does anyone know a craftsman that could repair the damage. I dont want a replacement as the wood matches very nicely and the age /patina are perfect. Any help will be appreciated.
I will be going to the Baltimore gun show if contact could be made.

Thanks for the help. I contacted OLDMAGIC and Keith was very helpful. He said the forearm was not a good candidate for repair.
I was at the Baltimore gun show this weekend and found a nice replacement for the forearm. After I recovered from the shock of the price I bought them and when I got home put them on and it looks like the forearm was born on the gun!!0
