shotgun issue
Hi everyone,
I bought a huge pile of shotgun parts to try and teach myself a little gunsmithing and I hit a snag. I have just about put togther a Western Field Model ENH-560-8A 12 guage pump gun. everything seems to work but the elevator does not go down when the pump is slid backwards. I think I am missing a spring but I am not sure what it looks likes or which side it goes on. Does anyone know where I can get an exploded view, or what the piece I am missing looks like? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Western Field was a Trade Name used by Montgomery Ward on firearms they sold. These guns were made by various gun manufacturers such as Savage/Stevens, Mossberg, & Marlin. Until you figure out who the manufacturer was, and what their actual model identification was, it will be very difficult to get either parts or schematics for your shotgun.
GPC that Henry advised you about has a cross-over list on their site. See if you can find the actual manufacturer of your shotgun on it. After you find the manufacturer perhaps you can luck out and get a schematic.0 -
Thanks guys, looks like I have a puzzle to solve, which is half of the fun! 0
