Need advise on AK & AR magazines

I need a couple of each magazines and went to J&G. There is a variety of different mags at different prices. Which is the better magazines to buy? Thank you

I forgot: 30 round mags...

  You can't beat the Magpuls for the AR's and I like the platic Bulgarian AK mags. A lot of the AK mags have the sharp ridge on the back of the mag. Just don't like them, nothing more then a potential sharp stick in the eye thing going on there. Picked one up at a gun show and damn near cut my finger off. JMHO.

  For an AR, Magpul are hard to beat. GI are a close 2nd. Upgrade with Magpul followers, I still prefer Magpul. But its probably even then.
