Model 70 s manufactured per day?????

Does anyone know the daily production numbers for the Model 70. Looking at files on the net says they made 46000 in one year. Sounds like a lot.

Not looking for serial number info.

  Sounds about right. Even if you don't allow for export to other countries, it leaves a state average of about 900 per state per year.
