    Not a S&W expert, but that is a kit gun, and not a Ladysmith. Gun Traders Guide lists it as $275 Excellent, $352 NIB. Standard Catalog of Firearms shows VG $300, EXC as $425.

    While they are nothing BUT a guide, I would feel your opening bid sought is about the upper end of value- not conducive to frenzied bidding. With a really nice gun, more pictures help sell it. This IS the internet- I can't pick it up and look for myself.

    We need more photo's. Does that have "Lady Smith" engraved or stamped on it? If it is, then it is a "Lady Smith". If not, then it is a regular Model 34. You are right in the ball park. It appears to be in nice condition, but your pics need to be better. Use Macro function, and move the camera back, then zoom in, to help get rid of the glare. I might suggest cutting your starting bid a little, to get a bidding war started.

    That is NOT a Lady Smith revolver. That line was brought out in the mid to late 1980s to, obviously, appeal to women.

    Your pistol was made before that as the barrel is pinned.

    With better pictures, especially of the front of the cylinder and breech face to show wear, an with the box, I'd say you're in the $500 to $600 range.

    Well you need a camera w a good macro setting and lots more pics.
    That would sell for $425-450 around here.
    Prob a bit more on GB w more and macro pics.

    With box and condition of the model 34 I think it should bring $400 or more at auction. The buggered screw head on the sideplate suggest "Bubba" may have taken a look inside. Hope he didn't attempt any amateur gunsmithing on the mechanism.

    Plus the scratches on the sideplate that show in the picture [B)]
    His opening bid is top dollar for that pistol.

    I just sold one on another forum, like new no box shipped insured for $520.00 they are getting hard to find .Not a Lady Smith it was a Mod.34-1.
