Has some good info for you.
Have you slugged the bore yet?0 -
I have been to castboolits thanks. Bore measured .3135 0 -
311299 should work much better, 0 -

You might need to 'beagle' that mold... again, look on cast boolit forum.
A 314299 would be a real treat for that bore diameter.
If you are interested, I'd be willing to send you a sample pack of a dozen or 2 gas checked and lubed, ready to go.0 -
I have thought about beagleing the mold. Have you tried the Lee 185gr .312 mold? I can borrow this one from a cousin. I sent you my address my seperate e-mail. I would love to give them a try. 0 -
The Lee .312-185 mold drops (for me, with mine) at around .313" using wheel weight metal with 5% tin added.
The bullets I sent you were sized to .314". You could slug your bore and measure it (I'd advise it) but if you want to try that mold as things sit, and run through a .314" sizer, you probably wouldn't hurt much. Worst case is you get a little leading, easy enough to scrub out in smaller amounts with steel wool (OOOO) and a worn bore brush.0
