versapod and a 7400

I am wondering if there is an adapter that will allow me to use a Versa-pod bi-pod on a Remington 7400 .270 semi-auto? Thanks.

    possibly a barrel band with a sling swivel, but not sure 100% that will work. for standing and sitting shots, I have been using a trigger stick, and love it.

    If the stock has a sling swivel screw, then yeah. I have one on my 10/22 on Hogue stock. I think I called up Versa-Pod and they sent one in for free. No actually I paid for that adapter and they sent me UIT adapter nut for free. Nice folks.

    That's the one I have. The issue is the little "T" adapter won't hang on the sling swivel as since the forend is in the way. What I would need is a longer screw at the end of the forend to extend out the sling swivel.If not, then maybe buy a Harris because they have an adapter specifically for this model. I'll contact Versa-Pod and see what they say. Thanks for the help.

    You do know you can sand the plastic hand stop a bit so the big nut can grab the threads, right? I had the same issue with the screw not being long enough. I got 80 grit paper and rough sanded the plastic and took off a few MM (keep checking for fit). After I got what I needed I finished it by sanding it smooth. Easy way is to get a flat block of wood and sand the flat side. Or you can sand the curved side (that way you don't see the sanding mark if you don't finish it smooth). Or both sides by splitting the MM (2mm on one side and 3mm on the other as an example).

    I suppose you can always go with Harris and sell off your Versa rig without doing any mod to the plastic.
