Shotgun I.D. question

A customer wants me to find some info on his shotgun, parts and value! I've been searching and cant find a thing, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

He was told it was made from 1860 to 1880, its a 14ga pin fire side by side. Heavy engraving on all metal parts, receiver is in nickle, damascus barrels, pivot release is mounted on the front of the trigger housing, the stock has no pistol grip but does have a metal hand-hold with a ornimental peice behind it, dont know the proper term!, the stock also has a monte carlo cheek peice. He was also told that it was made for a English Royal youth, I dont have a clue!

    F. Bauerneind was a gunmaker of Heidelberg Germany and was active as early as 1850 possibly before and no telling how late.

    The pinfire came on the line about 1830 so that would fit.

    Guns of these type can only be evaluated with good clear pictures and each one too be judged on it's own merits.

    Pinfire firearms had a rather short lifespan, as far the shotguns were concerned. 1850's - 1870's would be likely. Many of them that turn up in the States were brought home by G.I.'s as souvenirs after the war. The krauts had to turn in all their guns no matter how old, lot of them came home in duffel bags. Because of this, their main market is in the fatherland now. If you have a high quality piece in factory original condition with excellent cosmetics, it might have substantial value.
