Vintage Shotgun Ammo

Saw a box of collectible ammo today. Early two piece box named "pointer" with a bird dog on the front. could not read the tag entirely. said something about "Clinton" as the manufacturer or location of manufacture. It reminded me of an early Western box. Anyone heard of this.
