.380 acp
Is/was there a problem with RCBS dies and certain brands of brass in 380? I keep getting "rings" below the bullet on Federal brass, doesn't happen with the Winchester brass I'm using though.[?][B)]

You will find some brass is harder than others, or thicker down by the rim.
I had some 9mm that after resizing looked like belted magnum cases.0 -
RCBS has offered 2 different sizes of expanders , the one that has come standard works for most brass, all you have to do to obtain the other expander is call or email RCBS and explain the problem your having, if the "improved" expander will solve your problem they will send it out to you no charge. 0 -
If it chambers, shoot it. 0 -
Federal brass is very soft and sucks. If you get 4 reloads out of it without cracks or primers falling out you will be lucky. Stick with winchester its good stuff.[8D] 0 -
I use RCBS mostly but my .380 dies are LEE, and they work just fine with all the brass I've used. 0
