Choke tube for Rem. barrel.

I have a 12 GA 34" Remington barrel and I'm looking to have it threaded for a choke tube. My problem is I can't find a choke small enough for it.
Gander mountain gun works installs a long tapered choke that they make, but they said it won't work on my barrel because the inside diameter is too small at the muzzle. I'm trying to find someone that might make a custom choke tube that will work. My inside muzzle diameter is 69.272 inch or 839.37mm. Thanks for any information you can give me. cts1

    Agree that Briley's is a good resource for choke tubes.

    Gander's position is strange. It doesn't matter what the I.D. of a barrel is, they are going to ream it out before threading anyhow. If the O.D. is too small, they can't do it with paper thin walls.

    Your measurements are strange. I presume the inch measurement is just a misplaced decimal; ought to be .69272" Which is still a remarkable degree of precision (and a very tight choke.) But the metric number does not compute at all; .69272" = 17.595mm

    Sorry for the measurments, I measured the barrel with a digital caliper I purchased and it measures in inches and milimeters. Learning how to use it. Thanks

    nominal 12 ga. dore dia. is .729", the muzzel dia. determines the amount of 'choke'. the muzzle is normaly bored out to barrel dia. before threading for choke tubes. you need to measure the bore dai. about 3" to 4" in back of the muzzle (all modern chokes start about this distance from the muzzle).

    you can buy a used rem-choke barrel with chokes you need cheaper than having that barrel threaded and buy new chokes
