Winchester Model 59 Win-lite
I would like to know the value range of a Winchester 59 Win-lite 12ga shotgun. It was handed down to me by my dad and I'm thinking he bought it during the 60's, possibly earlier. I'm thinking of having it refinished by someone; it has a few knicks on the stock and a couple of places on the barrel where the blue is coming off. Other than that it looks fine and shoots even better. Thanks

Excellent shotguns that Winchester made from the 50's till 60's.
Receiver is aluminum and barrel is a steel liner wraped with fiberglass threads. This makes refinishing a iffy proposition unless a pro does it who really knows what he's doing. Being it's you dad's I would just leave it along, treasure it as a family heirloom.0 -

Correct. Years ago I had one with the same type of screw in choke tubes.0
