Kimber .45 ACP magazine
I picked up a Kinber magazine today for ten dollars and thought a friend would like to have it for that money. I called him a told him I purchased the magazine and that I picked it up for him if he wanted it. He explained that the magazine would jam and that all the Kinber .45 ACP magazines are junk, is he right?

I have seen some Quality control problems a few years ago with some slides and Many Asian made barrels. But I don't think Kimber would still be in business if ALL their magazines were JUNK I never buy anything for friends unless I know before-hand that they want the item and if they want me to purchase. I confirm before I buy with a phone call [:0] 0 -
Like I told him I will try it if it works I will add it to the stack and use it. This guy that made this statment is getting bum information from the salesman that sold him the Kimber pstol and sold him Wilson magazines and I would not doubt kept the original ones.

Like all the Kimber pistols, I think the Kimber mags have to be broke-in before they will feed reliably. [:X]
Never had to "BREAK IN" any of my Kimbers [:0]
They all have ran from day one [;)][:)]0 -
All of the Kimber mags I have used have been of the Chip McCormick design and have worked perfectly. The newer ones (made in the last few years) may have changed I don't know. 0 -

Tried a Kimber mag also noted it was a Chip McCormick mag renamed as Kimber.
I've never had any luck with CMC mags. Leave loaded for a month and the springs die on me. Could be a sign I need to shoot more often...0 -
I have several "Kimber" Magazines for my Gold Match. As stated above
they are actually Chip McCormick mags and have been flawless for the 10 + years I have used them.0 -
