Model 63: modified or factory configuration?
Hi,
I'm hoping that someone here can tell me whether or not any Model 63's ever left the Winchester factory equipped with hardware to attach a sling (as seen in the photo below). If the hardware was not factory, does it detract from the value of this particular rifle? Finally, what are 63's, in this condition, commanding for price these days? Thanks very much, in advance, for any clarification you can provide!

Your picture is so dark that the swivels aren't visible . I could be wrong but I think all Winchesters could be special ordered with many options , Sling Swivels included ! There are a lot of 63s on the market right now , and not selling . So it's kind of hard to place a real world value on it . If you could verify that the Swivels are a factory option , the value would be higher . If you have only studs on your rifle then they are not original , and detract from the value ! 0 -
I need to see close-up pictures of both sling swivel mounts, especically the one in the butt stock. 0
