JP Sauer 16 Gauge/ rifle
I have a friend that has a JP Sauer double barrel 16 gauge shotgun with a rifle under the shotgun barrels. It has two triggers and hammers that have to be cocked to fire. All the writing is in German. His father brang this home from WWII. I will work on getting some photos. If anyone could give us a starting point of what he has that would help. I know he want to sell it, he just need to know what he has. Thanks everyone. schwinnhg

Some of them are extraordinary firearms!
Rifle caliber is important. length of chambers on the shotgun barrels is relevant too..

schwinnhg,
While you're working on photos, be sure to get clear, sharp picture of the areas under the forearm wood, the bottom of the barrels which rests on the water table and the water table of course. These areas contain many of the proof/identification/manufacturing marks necessary to help us help you. There should also be some writing on the top rib and on the sides of the barrels.
Overall photos and details will help us establish the condition of the gun as well.
