1911 question
If you wanted a good 1911 would it be better to buy the Springfield and add the options you wanted yourself, or buy a Kimber that is already tricked out, or something else that I have not mentioned? You guys generally give good advice so that is what I am trying to get again. Thanks guys!

Hello in late 1918 & early 1919 Remington UMC Made 21,676 model 1911 pistols They had their own serial numbers then. So one could have a colt 1911 and a Remington UMC with the same serial number being the frames were not marked as to maker on either the Colt or Remington UMC the way to tell is the Remington UMC were all Inspected and marked on the left side with EEC. and the Eagle's Head. just behind the trigger on the left side of the frame. The slide left side is roll stamped completely different from the colt but right side is almost the same. as with any 1911 from WW I Condition and if all original determines Value. 0 -
